Swimmers board Launch 5 and depart for Mid-Hudson Bridge.

9:18 AM  Swim splash (max flood prior to ebb is 0.96 knots).
3:30 PM  Pull remaining swimmers when flood starts or when swimmers can no longer make headway (max flood post ebb is 1.3 knots).
3:45 PM  Swimmers exit at Beacon Ferry Terminal.

Boaters park at Beacon Ferry Terminal.

Important: Everyone must keep clear of Ferry at all times.

 

 

Stage 4. Beacon-Newburgh – Bear Mt. Bridge
Distance: 15.2 miles
Friday June 22

4:30 PM  Kayakers and swimmers load onto Launch 5 and boats from Edgewater Marina. Staten Island and Brooklyn boaters load passengers onto Launch 5.
5:30 PM  Launch 5 and Edgewater boaters unloads swimmers and volunteers at La Marina (except for Staten Island boaters).
